Overview

HousePlantSitter (HPS) is an Austin based company that performs plant care for commercial and residential spaces. When the company was found, I was approached to create the website and assist in setting up desired digital services.

Web Development

I worked with the owner of HPS to design and build houseplantsitter.com. I was able to take her general vision and work with her to craft a site that easily provides visitors with all the information they need to understand the business. Through the process we establish brand guidelines, defined target markets, and set up an initial lead funnel. With an overarching contact form in the header and specific lead forms on every page, this site was set up to directly assist in the growth of the business and it has done just that.

Lead Forms

The HPS site has a number of lead forms on it. Each form uses HubSpot to collect leads. All lead data has been stored in HubSpot since the Inception of the service in 2020. This has allowed the HPS team to easily manage and process all incoming leads.

Search Engine Optimization

We worked to ensure that the HPS site scored very highly in search. Currently, the site is one of the first sites that come up when searching for plant care, if not the first. This has lead to HPS naturally receiving leads daily without any ongoing digital advertising. And though the service is only available in Austin, the site has reached people all over the world including the UK, the East & West coast of the US, Dubai, and more.

Business Emails

As part of the website setup we established all the HPS email addresses our client needed to run her business. This included setting up dmarc emails and settings to monitor and ensure high email deliverability.

Blog Posts

I continue to work with the HPS team to review blog posts written by their copywriter and design them into blog posts for the HPS blog. I also developed the design of the HPS blog page.
